    National Biomedical Research Act (H.R. , S. ) The legislation was introduced by Rep. Yvette Clark (D-NY) on 12/11/19 in the House by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on 1/8/20 in the Senate. The legislation would establish a Biomedical Innovation Fund in the Treasury Department whose funds would be transferred to the NIH & FDA. Coping occurs in the context of life changes that are perceived to be stressful. Psychological stress is usually associated with negative life changes, such as losing a job or loved one. However, because all changes require some sort of adaptation, even positive changes, such as getting married or having a child, can be stressful.
